A great day

It’s been an awesome day today. And there are a lot of reasons to that.

The first, the most important one, is that it rained. There isn’t a day when it rains and I’m not in a great mood – rain does that to me. Well…what’s more, I drove crazy on my bike through the dribbling rain on the roads of Multan – man, I’ve missed that fun for long.

I thought I was done with my share of today’s goodies – towards the end of the evening, however, my brother-in-law invited me over to a football match. And we played it through the same dribbling rain on the dense grass of a park nearby – even the infrequent slips did little to mar our plans of playing all the way to a 10-point end. We won the game, as a matter of fact.

The weathers still has that damp containtment of the post-rain effect – that cool wind that carries a tinge of moisture in it. In such days, there’s no cozier place to sleep than outdoors, right under the hazy, starry firmament.

Well…that’s that. It’s been an awesome day over all, after a long, long time. I feel happy, content and sort of , purged of many useless thoughts. Let’s hope it ends with a peaceful sleep.
