Novel: A dream in the countryside - NaNoWriMo

 

NaNoWriMo is the brief name for National Novel Writing Month. It’s a month-long marathon of writing a novel of 50000 words in the month of November. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people participate in it and attempt to write a novel, ‘burning perfection at stake’ as someone put it.

I came to know of NaNoWriMo sometime in October and I decided I needed this. For long I have been planning fiction but either a lack of will or a schedule that somehow hampered it made those efforts futile. So I thought that perhaps through NaNoWriMo I can finally find a motivation to accomplish the feat. So here I am, with my novel titled ‘A dream in the countryside.’
